Experimental study on unconfined compressive strength of expansive soil improved by lignin and cement

Aiming at the question of improvement expansive soil in Nanyang area, composite method lignin and cement was adopted. Based on unconfined compressive strength test, variation law improved with different content, compaction degree curing age studied. The test results show that can effectively improve soil. L-C (lignin cement) reaches maximum when content is fixed 4% 1%. increases increase age, growth mainly concentrated first 7 days age. From point mechanism, hydration gelation reaction occur soil, gel material higher formed to enhance appropriate amount fill pores between particles make connection more closely, so as
